Wonderful Wednesday!- and Happy Birthday, Ian!

A recap of Day 2 of learning together ...

Today we followed more of a normal schedule and had longer blocks of time together. We made acrostic poems of our names to hang as locker signs, we learned friendship skills and applied them playing Four Square and Gaga Ball, read two books and reflected on what makes us unique and how we can make the world a better place, had Spanish class, practiced opening our lockers, and did a STEAM team activity. Ask your child to tell you what we built and how it went! We will do a second round tomorrow and share out photos and awards here on the daily blog, so stay tuned! We played a name game to get to know everyone's names and sang with Mr. Seley. It was an awesome day; one of our returning fourth graders described it as her best day ever.

Here is our schedule from today:

Here are two books we read today:

Here is our song of the day:
Count On Me

On Friday, we will be doing the Personal Reflection Activity that Mrs. Beam's class did in Save Me A Seat. Bring in one thing that you think represents you. On the index card that we sent home today, write why you think that item represents you. Bring in  your object and your index card on Friday, when we will share with our class! No leeches! ;)

Today's Planner:

We adore your kids and look forward to seeing their smiling faces again tomorrow.

Fondly,
Kim and Tom
