A Merry Monday

Mondays are always great days to reconnect with each other! Today, we did cursive, math, took our school pictures, had a short indoor recess thanks to the rain, had a reading lesson, got new books at our reading levels from the book room, had lunch/recess, went to PE/Swim, and then we took the NWEA reading test. Everyone had a chance to start, and many kids didn't finish today and will finish on Thursday.

Our reading lesson today taught the kids how to make their reading as good as gold. We learned how a positive attitude toward books and our reading really plays a part.

Tomorrow will be another great day. Don't forget that it's a Late Start for kids--Mr. Seley and Mrs. Davis call them "Early Starts" because we have staff professional development time starting at 7:15. We will be eager to see the kids tomorrow.
