Today we tried two internet-based learning tools in class, and students are encouraged to use them to practice at home.
(1) www.myON.com for online books to read
Your children have access to thousands of enhanced digital books
that meet their interests and are at the appropriate reading level to
engage them and help them grow as readers and learners.
Families are encouraged to spend time together reading and
learning with myON. All digital books are complete with optional
reading supports—highlighting and audio—and dictionary to help
increase reading achievement.
myON is available for online reading anywhere and anytime. Your
children can read online using any Internet-enabled device. They
can read offline using free mobile apps for iPad, Android, Chrome
and Kindle Fire HD. Learn more at

We use CL for skill-based practice that is individualized to meet each child's learning level, aligned with your child's scores on the NWEA test.
On an ipad, CL does not work in safari, you must download the free Puffin Academy app and run CL through the Puffin Academy app.
