Magic Monday

In science, we are studying the system of a pendulum, designing experiments, standardizing our experiments, collecting data, and learning about variables. Today we all agreed that a 38 cm. pendulum system (string, penny, paper clip) swings 12 cycles.

In social studies, we are studying Michigan's government.

In reading, we have researched a natural disaster and will be using what we learned in our reading to write a research report.

In writing, we are writing a class newspaper.

In math, third graders are working on geometry (perimeter and area this week) and fourth graders are finishing our fractions unit (decimals this week).
