Monday-Tuesday

This week, we both have guest teachers 2-3 days to meet individually with students to do reading testing. Mr. Seley's class is wrapping up their NWEA testing. We are doing literacy lessons, completing unit 1 of Michigan studies focusing on geography, and beginning to learn about energy in science. 4th grade math is finishing unit 1 and will test next week. 3rd grade math is building our fluency with multiplication and division facts (accuracy and speed) as we develop conceptual understanding of the meaning of multiplication and division. All kids are in xtramath and should do one lesson or ten minutes of practice five days a week OR MORE. We tell the kids that those who work more learn more.
