Our day in review:
Today we got reading buddies and chose books to read together from our 3/4 team book room! The just-right level that we gave your child is an estimate based on the data that we got from last year's teacher's spring testing. We will be reading testing in October to get everyone's new levels. For now, we are enjoying books and enjoying reading. We have independent, buddy, and whole-class reading time every day :)
Davis kids swam and Seley kids had PE in the gym. We drafted our paragraphs for our newspapers. We played the math games made by classmates this summer. Wow! They are super fun and we hope to keep as many as we can here at school for those rainy or low wind chill recess days, when we play board games and cards inside.
