We like to suggest dinnertime discussion topics. Tonight, please ask your child to tell about our read aloud, The Kid Who Ran for President, and about the story your child is writing with a partner. The teacher and the whole class did pre-writing together to outline characters and a rough plot, and students are partner writing their version of the story.
We did our first health lesson today about positive health role models and how friends can be positive and helpful versus negative and unhelpful. Please continue this discussion at home. Here's Mrs. Davis' copy:
