This morning began with a short math lesson. Third graders got our new math books for the year and began our first page.
We took the NWEA math test in the computer labs with Mrs. Davis. What's so great about this is that soon, our Compass Learning backpacks will be filled with assignments that are a personalized learning path for each student! We will take the NWEA reading test next week.
When we weren't testing, we were with Mr. Seley for the day's literacy lessons. We visited the media center and the book room to get great books to read this week and continued to collaboratively add to our "things I can write about" lists.
Lastly, we had our very first fire drill of the year at 3:00.
This week, we have some exciting reading and writing lessons planned, along with moving more deeply into our math and social studies units. Keep watching the blog to stay connected with our learning!
Enjoy the beautiful evening!
