Shhh! We're Writing the Constitution!
We celebrated the Constitution all afternoon. Please look in your child's binder for their (Parents, did you know this a legally mandated lesson for our classrooms on this date every year?) In the morning, the kids wrote a true story from their own lives as a pre-test for narrative writing. They also finished their DOL (grammar and language practice) for the week.
Here is some information on decorating your writer's notebook. You can have a few more days to do this if you need to (some kids might have forgotten them in their cubbies)
